Foremost to realize a high quality of space, and to ensure that your project is built to last and endure from both an heirloom and financial perspective.

Our outlook is that good design considers appropriateness to time and place, appropriateness of style, and appropriateness of materials and application. Above all, good design strives to benefit the unique personalities of People, aiming to assist their needs and compliment their held values.

Our Design Philosophy

We prefer design that considers the qualities of timelessness, authenticity, imagination, functionality, simple comfort and value proportionate to quality. We favour ordered light filled spaces and clean lines and welcome the pleasing, energetic presence of color and pattern. We appreciate natural materials and finishes and are enthusiastic in the potential for imaginative and expressive application- both restrained and minimal, exuberant and bold. Our preference is found somewhere in between refined and natural, formal and casual, restrained and lively.

We can speak of our preference, but what is primary is your preference. Understanding that the notion of good design is subject to taste, we listen to you carefully and work along with you. By contributing our talents and accumulated knowledge of good design and construction principles, we strive to design spaces that are favourable to your specific needs and values. The design process is best a close collaboration between you and us with the goal in mind being spaces that are well designed well built and well suited for you- from the larger overall spacial arrangements to the fine details.

While good design certainly won’t save the world, we hold a common sense approach in the belief that well designed and appointed spaces will add a positive quality to the lives of unique individuals and families.

How We Build

We prefer to provide for you an integrated design and build service in which we are enthusiastic in the intent to build what we design, and design what we build. We are positioned as builders who are involved in the design process in which we design with an existing practical understanding of the construction principles applied during our involvement in the building process.

We are able builders and craftsmen who appreciate good design and natural materials with extensive construction experience in the field and with sound knowledge of building practices.

We welcome projects of varying scale and budget.
